We stand behind every Hakon part

A note on the V2 range

We recommend V2 control arms and V2 Pro sets for motorsport use, because road legality can be an issue for modified suspension depending on your vehicle and where you live. This is a recommendation, not a warranty condition: using V2 parts on the road doesn't affect your warranty. Checking road legality and compliance is your responsibility (see our Terms of Service).

Motorsport is hard on parts. The V2 warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. It doesn't cover damage from impacts, crashes or overloading.

Exclusions

What's not covered

This warranty doesn't cover:

  • Incorrect installation, including not following our instructions or torque specs, or installation with incompatible or worn surrounding parts. We strongly recommend having parts fitted by a qualified professional.

  • Fitting a part to a vehicle outside its listed fitment. This voids the warranty.

  • Modification of the product in any way, such as cutting, welding, drilling, re-machining or re-finishing.

  • Crash, impact or overloading damage, including contact with kerbs, barriers, walls, other vehicles or track debris.

  • Normal wear and tear, including the gradual wear of bushes, joints and boots through use.

  • Cosmetic wear, such as marks, scratches or finish wear from use.

  • Damage from neglect or lack of maintenance, or from continuing to drive with a known problem.

  • Labour and consequential costs, such as removal or refitting, wheel alignments, towing or downtime.

Claims

How to make a warranty claim

Bought from us directly?

  1. Fill in the Warranty Request form

Use the Warranty Request form with your order number, the product, your vehicle details, how the car is used and a description of the problem.

  2. We'll reply within 3–5 business days

Every claim is assessed case by case. When we reply, we'll ask for clear photos or videos of the part, the problem area and how it's fitted.

  3. Diagnosis

Most claims are diagnosed from photos or videos, and if the claim is valid we replace the part.

  4. If we need to inspect the part

You pay freight to send it to us. If the claim is valid, we refund that freight and replace the part.

Keep the part and any related components until your claim is finalised. If you'd prefer to talk it through first, call us on 1800 292 911.
