By browsing this website or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Shipping Policy, Refund & Returns Policy, Warranty Policy and Privacy Policy.
2. Our products
Hakon Suspension sells aftermarket suspension parts designed in Australia, including Hakon V2 control arms and V2 Pro kits, poly bush kits and adjustable swaybar links.
We work hard to keep product descriptions, fitment information, images and specifications accurate. Small differences can happen, though, and product images are for illustration only.
3. Fitment is your responsibility
- It's your responsibility to make sure a part suits your vehicle and your intended use before you buy and before you fit it. If you're unsure, call us on 1800 292 911 before ordering.
- Suspension parts are safety-critical. We strongly recommend having all parts installed by a qualified, experienced mechanic or workshop, following our instructions and torque specs.
- After fitting suspension components, have a professional wheel alignment done and check all fasteners regularly.
- Fitting a part to a vehicle outside its listed fitment voids the warranty (see our Warranty Policy).
- We're not responsible for damage, loss or injury caused by incorrect installation, incompatible parts, or fitment outside a product's listed application, except where the Australian Consumer Law says otherwise.
4. Roadworthiness and compliance
- Modifying a vehicle's suspension can affect its roadworthiness, registration, insurance and compliance with Australian Design Rules and state or territory vehicle standards.
- Our products are not guaranteed to be road legal. Compliance is the customer's responsibility.
- It's up to you to check that any modification is legal where you live, to get any engineering certification or approvals needed, and to tell your insurer about modifications.
5. Motorsport use
- We recommend some products, including the Hakon V2 range (V2 control arms and V2 Pro kits), for motorsport use, because road legality may be an issue. This is a recommendation only. It's not a condition of sale or of our warranty.
- Motorsport is dangerous and puts extreme loads on vehicles and parts. If you use any product in motorsport or off-road competition, you accept the risks that come with it.
- To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, we're not liable for loss, damage or injury arising from motorsport or competition use.
6. Prices and payment
- Our prices are set in Australian dollars (AUD). International customers can view prices in their local currency or a selection of currencies. Charges may be converted, and your bank or card provider may apply its own conversion fees.
- Prices for Australian orders include GST. GST is removed for orders shipped overseas.
- International customers are responsible for any import taxes, duties and customs fees.
- Shipping is calculated at checkout.
- We may change prices at any time. The price you pay is the price shown when you place your order.
7. Orders and availability
- An order is accepted once it's paid and we've sent your order confirmation email.
- We may cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, we suspect fraud, or there's an obvious pricing or listing error. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.
8. Shipping, returns and warranty
Delivery, returns and warranty claims are covered by our Shipping Policy, Refund & Returns Policy and Warranty Policy.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to section 9:
- we're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of use, race entry fees, towing, labour, or damage to other parts of your vehicle, arising from the use of our products or this website
- where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it's limited to (at our option) replacing or repairing the goods, or paying the cost of doing so.

12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and handle personal information.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
